Manufacturing
From work order to finished goods
The Manufacturing module manages discrete and process manufacturing from planning through execution. Create work orders with BOM and routing selection, track shop floor operations in real time, and monitor equipment effectiveness with built-in OEE dashboards. Workflow automation governs order release, operation sign-off, and completion reporting so your floor runs on process, not tribal knowledge.

Key Capabilities
Work Orders
Plan and release production with full BOM and routing control.
- Work order creation from sales orders or manual planning
- BOM selection with revision control
- Routing selection with operation sequencing
- Material availability check before release
- Batch and serial number assignment
Shop Floor Execution
Track every operation as it happens on the production floor.
- Operation start/stop/complete tracking
- Labor time capture by operator and work center
- Scrap and rework reporting per operation
- Real-time work-in-progress visibility
- Digital traveler with operation instructions
OEE Dashboard
Measure overall equipment effectiveness and spot bottlenecks.
- Availability, performance, and quality metrics
- Machine-level and line-level OEE calculation
- Downtime reason code tracking
- Shift-over-shift trend analysis
- Target vs. actual production rates
Production Planning
Balance capacity and demand across your shop floor.
- Capacity loading by work center
- Finite and infinite scheduling modes
- Material requirements planning (MRP) integration
- Lead time and queue time modeling
- What-if scenario planning
How It Works
Plan
A work order is created — manually or triggered by a sales order. BOM and routing are selected.
Release
Material availability is confirmed. The work order is released to the shop floor with a digital traveler.
Execute
Operators report start/stop times, quantities, and scrap at each operation. WIP is tracked in real time.
Complete
Finished goods are received into inventory. Cost roll-up and OEE metrics are calculated automatically.
Connected Modules
Manufacturing doesn’t work in isolation — it shares data and events with these modules in real time.
PLM
BOMs and routings are authored in PLM and consumed by manufacturing work orders.
Warehouse
Raw materials are issued from inventory; finished goods are received back.
Sales
Make-to-order work orders are triggered directly from confirmed sales orders.
Quality
In-process and final inspections generate quality records tied to the work order.
